PHOTOS: TWO POLICE OFFICERS KILLED AS ARMED ROBBERS ATTACK TWO BANKS CLOSE TO BOWEN UNIVERSITY IN OSUN

Two police officers were killed after some armed robbers attacked two banks, Sterling and First Bank, located at the main entrance of Bowen University in Iwo town, Osun state yesterday June 6th. The robbers who were armed with sophisticated weapons, stormed the banks that are frequently visited by students of the institution.

The robbers carted away large sums of money. The state police say there have begun an investigation into the attack. Meanwhile the remains of the deceased victims have been deposited at the morgue.
